# Flexible Line Recovery Robot — Manufacturer Specification V0.1

## Product intent
A modular industrial machine for controlled recovery and organization of disordered flexible lines.

## Mechanical subsystems
- enclosed recovery chamber;
- distributed compliant handling modules;
- guide/transfer surfaces;
- sensing mounts;
- service access;
- downstream straightening path;
- configurable coiling/take-up unit;
- interchangeable material-handling cartridges.

## Electrical/control subsystems
- industrial controller;
- motor drives;
- encoder inputs;
- tension/force inputs;
- RGB/depth sensing;
- safety I/O;
- operator HMI;
- data logging interface.

## Software subsystems
- perception;
- line reconstruction;
- state estimation;
- planner;
- motion control;
- verification;
- recovery;
- diagnostics;
- operator interface.

## Hardware abstraction
The high-level planner must not depend on a particular motor, camera or actuator manufacturer. Hardware adapters should expose standardized commands and telemetry.

## Serviceability
Modules should be replaceable individually. Sensor calibration should be repeatable. Handling cartridges should be removable without dismantling the main chamber.

## Manufacturing development path
1. CAD concept.
2. Single-module bench prototype.
3. Two-module transfer prototype.
4. Small recovery chamber.
5. Instrumented full demonstrator.
6. Representative material trials.
7. Design-for-manufacture review.
8. Safety and compliance review.
9. Pilot build.

## Commercialization boundary
This specification describes a proposed manufacturer handoff architecture. It is not a production-ready BOM, certified design or manufacturing drawing package.
